Our History

A European Tradition Continues From Vienna to Chicago, our family has been making magnificent fur garments for more than a century!

Grandfather began his career as a furrier in nineteenth-century Vienna, Austria. His mother was the Countess Theresa Rosenberg.

At the age of eighteen, he opened his first fur store in Vienna. He was quite successful and earned a wonderful reputation as one of the nation's leading furriers.

Bill's parents emigrated to the United States from Austria in the early part of the twentieth century. Trained in the same arts, they set up shop in the same location where Keim Furs stands today.
